ASOS Responsible Edit | Autumn Fashion

I've been making a conscious effort recently to buy less clothes and re-wear current clothes in my wardrobe. I've also been trying to sell more of the clothes I don't wear as much instead of keeping them in my wardrobe taking up unnecessary space. A lot of brands have been trying to make an effort to become more sustainable, ASOS being one of them. On their website they have an edit containing sustainable clothing.

"Giving you the confidence to shop with both sustainability and style in mind, our responsible edit is your one-stop home for all
the environmentally conscious clothing, accessories and living items at ASOS. Look out for recycled goods, where waste, plastic and textiles have been recreated as new products. You’ll also find sustainable fibres and fabrics, which use less water and exert less waste along the way, making these buys better for the environment. It’s our call for sustainability, without compromising your unique style. All the feel-good vibes."

https://www.asos.com/women/the-responsible-edit/cat/?cid=28981&nlid=ww|clothing|shop+by+edit

I'm going to show you a few of my favourite pieces from their edit to show you how little changes in your wardrobe can make a huge difference to the environment:

ASOS DESIGN chunky midi dress with side split in recycled blend:
https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-chunky-midi-dress-with-side-split-in-recycled-blend/prd/11691945?clr=taupe&colourWayId=16418603&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

I've genuinely wanted one of these sweater dresses for the longest time and I still don't own one so I will definitely be purchasing this on pay day. I love the colour of this dress and I think paired with a black chunky belt, it will look fab! In the description it states that this dress is made with recycled polyester, plastic bottles and textile waste are processed into plastic chips which are melted into new fibres, this saves water and energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Learn something new everyday!

ASOS DESIGN long sleeve pep hem sweat dress:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-long-sleeve-pep-hem-sweat-dress/prd/12702092?clr=black&colourWayId=16472554&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

This dress is just something a bit different and I love the little fabric belt you get with it. I think paired with some tights and heeled boots, this dress would look amazing in the autumn/winter months! ASOS currently partner with the Better Cotton Initiative to improve cotton farming globally which makes it better for the cotton farmers and the environment. This promotes things like water efficiency and and reducing harmful chemicals. I think considering this dress is 100% cotton £22 is a steal!

ASOS DESIGN midi skirt with box pleats:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-midi-skirt-with-box-pleats/prd/11590068?clr=black&colourWayId=16379341&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

I think this skirt is so versatile and can be paired with pretty much anything which is why I love buying pieces like this as you can get so many wears out of them! I'd style it with a chunky knit jumper and chunky trainers or chelsea boots. This skirt is made from soft Lenzing™ EcoVero™ which comes from renewable sources, it's made from wood pulp from responsibly managed forests. Showing a fully transparent supply chain, the process saves water and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 50%. It's only £16 too!!!

ASOS DESIGN fluffy jumper with cowl neck in recycled blend:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-fluffy-jumper-with-cowl-neck-in-recycled-blend/prd/11692360?clr=black&colourWayId=16427727&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

Everyone needs a black chunky knit jumper in their life and why not get this one which is again, made with recycled polyester? It's only
£25! I'd style this with a pair of blue mom jeans and black heeled boots with a leather jacket for a casual day look. I love the cowl neck look mainly to keep warm during the autumn/winter months!

ASOS DESIGN cropped boyfriend cardigan in rib:
https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-cropped-boyfriend-cardigan-in-rib/prd/11652421?clr=cream&colourWayId=16385893&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

I've  been obsessed with how cardigans look recently and I think paired with a pair of jeans and boots, they make the whole outfit look well put together. This cardigan is on sale at the moment priced at £22 reduced by £6 and it's made from 100% cotton. I would definitely recommend this piece for the autumn and winter months.

ASOS DESIGN balloon sleeve trench coat:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-balloon-sleeve-trench-coat/prd/12137585?clr=khaki&colourWayId=16412233&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

This coat is slightly more on the pricier side but I can understand why as it's amazing!!!! This coat would help pull any outfit together and make you look ready to go in a second. I love the balloon sleeves and the belt which comes with the coat, I think this is the perfect autumn coat for those important meetings in the office. Again, this coat is made from 100% cotton with the lining being 100% polyester.

ASOS DESIGN tie waist casual jumpsuit in jersey slub:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-tie-waist-casual-jumpsuit-in-jersey-slub/prd/13169793?clr=black&colourWayId=16459968&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

I call this the 'I want to look presentable but I don't have the effort' look which is me some (most) days. I think this jumpsuit is perfect to just throw on in the morning with some trainers and a leather jacket and you're good to go. Again, this is made from 100% cotton which promotes water efficiency and reduces harmful chemicals.

ASOS DESIGN tracksuit ultimate sweat / jogger with tie:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-tracksuit-ultimate-sweat-jogger-with-tie/prd/13056416?clr=grey-marl&colourWayId=16471717&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

This is another look for those days you just can't be bothered. This tracksuit can make you look ready for the day if you style it with some trainers and a leather jacket. It's the perfect cosy outfit too for the cold weather we're having! The cotton they use in this piece is also part of the Better Cotton Initiative.

ASOS DESIGN branded cotton tote bag:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-branded-cotton-tote-bag/prd/11928401?clr=black&colourWayId=16390309&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for a tote bag so I had to include one in this blog post 🤣

This tote can go with pretty much any outfit, I use tote bags for university as they can easily hold all my books and notes. This tote is made with lightweight woven fabric and is made from organic cotton. It's grown with less water and no pesticides so it's a win-win, improving the environment for both wildlife and cotton farmers. It's only £6 too.

ASOS DESIGN rib headband in recycled polyester in beige:

https://www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-rib-headband-in-recycled-polyester-in-beige/prd/11865160?clr=oatmeal&colourWayId=16433693&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

I absolutely love headbands like these, they're so cute! (and great for keeping your head warm during winter). I especially love the colour of this one and it can be worn with pretty much anything. It's made from recycled polyester and is only £5.

Converse cream Chuck Taylor Hi All Star Renew recycled trainers:

https://www.asos.com/converse/converse-cream-chuck-taylor-hi-all-star-renew-recycled-trainers/prd/12920057?clr=pale-putty&colourWayId=16441294&SearchQuery=&cid=28981

Wow I LOVE these. They are made from 100% textile and the sole is 100% rubber. I love the colour of them as they can be styled with pretty much anything, whether it's jeans, skirts, trousers etc. I've always loved converse but now I know they do a renew range, I'm sure it's something I'll be buying into more often. I love the little quote on the sole which says 'life's too short to waste'. Definitely worth a look if you're into converse and want to be more sustainable with your clothing choices.

So there's just a small look into the responsible edit on ASOS. They have over 3500 items in there so it's definitely worth having a look. When buying clothes, if you can buy sustainably for a reasonable price, why wouldn't you? Every small change helps the environment without compromising your daily style choices. Hope you enjoyed this blog post! Let me know whether sustainability in the fashion industry is something you care about? Will you be making more fashion-conscious choices when buying clothing in the future?

Top 5 Makeup Products At The Moment

Here's my top 5 makeup products at the moment which I can't go a day without reaching for.

(All links to products will be listed at the bottom).

First up on my list is the Naked Heat Palette:

I think I was really late to the party with this one because I only got this last Christmas but it has been my favourite eyeshadow palette ever since. The pigmentation in the eyeshadows is unbelievable and it comes with a brush which makes applying the eyeshadows so easy! I used to be so rubbish at applying eyeshadow but since practicing, I would say I'm getting to half decent now 🤣 the eyeshadows seem to last forever and of course, the packaging is amazing. If you need a new autumn eyeshadow palette to create the perfect smoky look, I would definitely recommend this one.

Next up is MAC Strobe Cream in Pinklite:

This product from MAC is one of the best primers I've ever used, I love it so much! It is a brightening moisturiser/primer with a slight pink tint to it. It illuminates my skin and gets rid of any dullness I may have on that day, it's also packed with vitamins and green tea so the cream literally feels like it's melting into your skin. One of the best things about this product is that it never feels sticky or heavy on your skin which is one of the things I hate the most about certain moisturisers, especially when they're the base of your makeup as the worst thing is when the product weighs your face down right before you apply makeup. If you're looking for a new moisturiser/primer that will make you glow, this is the one for you!

Next, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown:

I was always very hesitant to use a creamy gel based eyebrow pomade as I've always been used to using a powder based brow product but when I tried this for the first time, it left me so impressed and I don't think I'll ever go back to using powder based brow products again. I apply this very sparingly as the key is that a little goes a long way and I then use a brow brush to spread the product evenly throughout my brows. It's so much easier to apply that I originally thought and it lasts literally ALL day. It's good value for what you pay (£19) and it lasts forever. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try new brow products (although I think pretty much everyone has used this before me as I'm late to the party on this one too).

BareMinerals Matte Powder Foundation in shade Light Beige 09:

I don't think I'll ever go back to using a liquid foundation ever again after using this product. I cannot go on about this foundation enough because it has honestly changed my life!!! If you have oily skin like me, this foundation will solve all of your problems. When I used to wear liquid foundations, it used to get to around 1pm in the afternoon and it will have all slid of my face and my skin will be unbelievably oily but with this foundation, I barely see any oil on my face at all, all day. I was dubious as to whether this foundation would offer good coverage but I was surprised when it offered more coverage than liquid foundations I have used in the past, the coverage is very buildable too. A little goes a long way too this with product and it's so easy to apply, it melts straight into your skin and keeps your skin looking matte and fresh all day. If you have oily skin and you haven't tried this foundation, please do, it's amazing!

Last up on my list is the MCoBeauty Waterproof Eye Define Crayon Liner in Black:

I received this product in my Glossybox this month and I've been loving it ever since. As the liner is a crayon style, it's so easy to apply as it melts onto your waterline due to the product being so creamy. The colour pay-off is also great as it makes your eyes pop which is why I love it for nights out. It retails for £14 which is a reasonable price to pay for cruelty free makeup products. Since receiving this in my Glossybox, I am definitely going to be looking into other products this brand sell as this eyeliner is great and I will be using it all the time!

So there's my top 5 makeup products, I have so many other favourites too but it would take way too long to talk through them all! I hope you enjoyed this post today. What are some of your makeup favourites at the moment? Please let me know! (I'm always on the hunt for new makeup 😁).

My Autumn Clothes Wishlist

My autumn clothes wishlist is growing by the second. I'm going to share a few of my favourite pieces with you!

First up on my wishlist are a few coats I feel like everyone needs this autumn...

https://www.missguided.co.uk/tan-oversized-borg-teddy-coat-10147709

This coat from Missguided is to die for, it is £65 but it comes in a range of colours and it just looks so cosy and I feel it can be styled with pretty much anything such as jeans, skirts, trainers and boots etc the list goes on. My favourite colour is the tan (as pictured above). I feel like Missguided always have the best offering of coats so definitely head over there if you need a new winter coat.

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/check-and-call-tweed-faux-fur-coat/AGG64067.html

Next is this gorgeous coat from Nasty Gal, Nasty Gal is my favourite fast-fashion online retailer ever (you will discover this soon enough). This coat has everything you need in a winter coat, tweed and faux fur, what more could you want? Not only does this coat look snug, I feel as though you could throw it on with any outfit and it would instantly make you look put together. It is only priced at £60 too so you can't go wrong! P.s. Emma Louise Connolly's Nasty Gal edits are to die for.

Next up, a few jumpers on my wishlist...

https://www.prettylittlething.com/camel-cable-cropped-cardigan.html

This is a cardigan but I'd definitely wear it as a jumper. I'd maybe style it as off the shoulder or with a bralette/vest underneath to add another layer! It's from PLT and it only priced at £18 and it comes in 3 other colours too, I feel like you can't really go wrong with this to just throw on when you're in a rush. It will literally go with everything too like jeans, skirts, trousers...

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/youre-a-real-animal-relaxed-jumper/AGG60775-1.html?color=146

This jumper from Nasty Gal ELC's edit is only £15!!!! This jumper looks so cosy and it looks as though the quality is amazing. I love the print and the colours and again, this could pair up with pretty much anything. This is why I love autumn/winter fashion because most pieces can be worn with anything else and layering becomes second nature. This jumper would look great with leather trousers, heeled snakeskin boots and an oversized teddy coat.

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/all-set-turtleneck-jumper-and-midi-skirt-set/AGG70575.html

This is once again from Nasty Gal ELC's edit but this set is honestly what I've been searching for all autumn and it's an amazing price at £27 for the full set! I would definitely wear this for university paired with some high top converse or some flat boots and throw a leather jacket over the top. After this blog post, this will be added to my basket and bought because I can't wait any longer! This is probably my favourite piece this whole blog post.

https://www.missguided.co.uk/stone-borg-teddy-high-neck-sweatshirt-dress-10164719

This is technically a jumper dress but you get the point. This piece is from Missguided and is £25. This is such a good day piece to wear to work/university as you can pair it with boots/trainers and be comfortable and cosy all day especially when the weather is gloomy. This can again be paired with leather jackets, bomber jackets, trench jackets and teddy jackets for the ultimate snug outfit.

Onto trousers...

https://www.missguided.co.uk/tall-brown-snake-print-vinyl-cigarette-trousers-10155149

These trousers are amazing! They are from Missguided and are priced at £32. I love that they come with a matching belt as it brings the whole outfit together. These can either be dressed up or down, I personally would wear this with a cosy plain jumper to university with boots and a teddy coat or leather jacket but they can be dressed up for a night out with heels and a silk shirt as pictured above. I've never owned a pair of vinyl trousers but I think I may have to buy some!

https://www.prettylittlething.com/mid-wash-mom-style-jean.html

I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans and I'm still yet to find them but these seem pretty close. I love the straight leg/mom jean look and the rips just add to the effect. These particular jeans are from PLT and are priced at £30 which is very reasonable for jeans. I would pair these with a chunky black belt and black flat boots, a plain t-shirt or jumper and a leather jacket. Once again, they can be dressed up too for after-work drinks or other similar events by wearing a blouse with heeled boots or heels.

Autumn boots incoming...

https://www.missguided.co.uk/grey-snake-buckle-block-heel-pointed-ankle-boots-10144900

These boots are from Missguided and are priced at £40. I absolutely love the print and the style of the boot as they can be paired with pretty much any piece of autumn clothing. I would wear these to a meal/date with straight leg jeans or leather trousers with a plain shirt and leather jacket. Missguided offer a huge range of autumn boots so if you do need some new ones, I'd definitely browse their website.

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/third-time-lucky-faux-leather-croc-boots/AGG62597.html

I am in love with these boots from Nasty Gal, they may have to be added to my ever-growing order list. They are £39. I love flat boots at the moment because they offer more comfort and I'm quite tall anyway so adding extra height to me with heeled boots is sometimes annoying. I love the croc effect on these boots. I would pair them with a midi skirt, t-shirt and leather jacket for the autumn months.

Finally, onto bags...

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/want-what-do-you-snake-me-for-crossbody-bag/AGG67229-2.html?color=166

This bag is £13.20 on Nasty Gal 🤯

I absolutely love the colours in this bag and the long strap makes it so easy to wear with most outfits as it can go crossbody. I wear a lot of plain colour so this would go great with most of my outfits as it would add a pop of colour. If you need a new bag for any occasion, head over to Nasty Gal as they are all amazing prices and they have so much choice.

https://www.nastygal.com/gb/want-wait-for-the-reveal-croc-clutch-and-tote-bag/AGG77333-2.html?color=105

Another Nasty Gal piece as my final item on this blog post! This bag is only £21 and it comes with a separate clutch bag inside in the same design to keep your toiletries in which is amazing value for money. If you couldn't tell, I love the croc effect on shoes and bags as it will go with again, pretty much anything. I like to wear a lot of prints in my clothing so croc effect items go with these whereas most coloured items don't. This bag is the perfect size as a handbag so I'd definitely recommend this one!

That's all the items for today, I definitely have a lot more things on my wishlist but it would take you until Christmas to read through them all! Hope you enjoyed this post. What things are on your autumn wishlist? Let me know!

A few days in Lisbon

If you follow me on Instagram, you'd have seen that I recently visited Lisbon. It was a surprise trip from my boyfriend Liam for my 21st birthday. I loved Lisbon so much and I already want to go back! Here's what I did and a few photos...

DAY ONE

We arrived really late into Lisbon on a Monday night so we went straight to bed but we woke up early on Tuesday morning and began to explore. The first visit we made was to the castle of Sao Jorge. The views from the top of the castle were unbelievable and it did quite help that it was a sunny day! Right next to the castle was a little district called Alfama which had really small buildings and houses and tiny, winding streets so we explored around here for a while and stopped for an ice coffee to admire the views. We then walked past Alfama and hit the Mercado de Santa Clara which is a flea market and there were some very interesting pieces being sold here and I loved the atmosphere and the hustle and bustle this market provided. We then caught the underground and visited the Mercado da Ribeira which  we then realised was the Time Out food market in Lisbon. We was going to grab some lunch here but soon realised it was very pricey and the queues were quite long so we walked around and then left and grabbed lunch at a burger bar nearby which was a lot more calm. Next up on our list was a district named Rossio and we did a little bit of shopping here then we went up the Santa Justa Elevator which was an amazing experience. Again, the views from the top of the lift were breathtaking! Finally, to end our day, we went for an Indian meal at a hidden restaurant called Caxemira. To this day, I've still never eaten a better curry than what I did here, if you visit Lisbon and love Indian food, please make sure you go here! It is quite hidden if you do make a visit as it is on the 1st floor of a block of apartments and has no sign.

DAY ONE

 DAY TWO

Our second day in Lisbon was one of the hottest days the whole time we were there. First of all, we visited Benfica football stadium which to my surprise, I really really enjoyed. I really liked learning the history of the football stadium and also seeing in person the eagles that were used in match days. We then hired bikes (our favourite thing to do when we go on European city breaks) and rode around for a good few hours just exploring the district of Lisbon near where the Benfica football stadium was situated. We then  visited the Aqueduto Das Aguas Livres which is a historic Aqueduct. It is one of the prettiest things I've ever seen and I think it was four euros each to walk across it. I took so many photos when we were up there and we went close to the end of the day so there was no one walking across with us so it was very peaceful. After this, we visited the Basilica da Estrela which was beautiful once again (like everything else in Lisbon) and then we hired electric scooters in the park opposite and spent some time there. We then headed out for our evening meal and visited a few bars! Our favourites in particular were the Sky Bar - the views were unreal and we watched the sunset here and then we visited a bar called Monkey Mash which made the most mad cocktails I've ever heard of but the decor inside the bar was amazing and the cocktails were really nice too! After this, we went home as we were so tired from the day before and our second day that we just needed some rest (the heat didn't help either!)

DAY TWO

DAY THREE

This was our final full day but definitely our favourite. First, we visited the Jeronimos Monastery which was a beautiful building with a lot of history behind it (unfortunately the queue was too long and we had a lot of plans for this day so we didn't go inside). We then walked along to the front and stood next to the Padrao dos Descobrimentos which is a monument that celebrates the Portuguese Age of Discovery. We then hired electric scooters once again and rode along the river front and then stopped at the Tower of Belem which is a 16th century fortification that served as both a fortress and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. We then rode up and down the river front on our electric scooters stopping underneath the bridge and then stopping again for ice cream. We then stopped for some lunch at a lovely Italian restaurant called Nosolo Italia, please go here if you're ever in Lisbon, the food is amazing! We then ended our day by visiting the urban beach and dipping our feet in the water whilst drinking cocktails and then going shopping once more before we flew home the day after.

DAY THREE
Again, this is probably my favourite place I've visited so far and I can't wait to go back again!

Has anyone else been to Lisbon? Do you have any recommendations for when I go back next time? Let me know if anyone goes to anywhere I went whilst I was there!

What I've been loving recently

Here's a few beauty items I've been loving recently.

DECLEOR AROMA CLEANSE TONIFYING LOTION

I received this product whilst working at House of Fraser during my placement year, I only have about 1/3 of the bottle left and I've absolutely loved using this product. You can use this product to either remove your makeup or as a toner, I've only used it as a toner so far but it's left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The neroli oil repairs your skin and protects against dehydration leaving your skin glowing. The green tea water also detoxifies your skin and leaves it feeling refreshed. I only use this product before I go to bed and I love how my skin feels after I've applied it. If your skin needs a pick me up and you want to feel rejuvenated, this product is for you.

This product has been a staple for me for probably close to 3 years now. I will keep going back to this face mask again and again. Firstly, the tub is huge so it will last you a long time as when you're applying this mask, you really don't need much. Secondly, it's vegan, yay! This mask contains bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. It's great for blackheads as it draws all the impurities out of your skin, it's quite cool as you can actually see this happening whilst the mask is on (also a little disgusting but oh well). Once you take this mask off, you can seriously feel the difference, your whole face is unbelievably soft and my skin is always glowing once I've washed it off. This is still to date, my favourite face mask I own.

Another mask recommendation for you, here is another product I received whilst working on my placement year (the free samples were great as you can already tell). This mask is aimed at people with combination, dry or sensitive skin which is great for me as I have combination and sensitive skin. I found this mask really plumps the skin and leaves it feeling very glowy. The clay aspect of the mask helps to purify the skin and draw out impurities but the oatmeal in the mask also helps to reduce redness and irritation on sensitive skin. If you're looking for a face mask that is a good all rounder and does everything you need it to, I'd say this one is for you.

This setting spray is a no brainer, I absolutely love everything about it. It makes my makeup last all day without wearing off and it smells insane. I would even use this just as a refreshing face mist to cool me down as it smells that nice. The setting spray contains green tea, chamomile and cucumber as well as vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients to soften the skin whilst protecting it from pollution. If you're going to invest in a setting spray, give this one a go.

This is my new all time favourite primer which is sad because you can only get it from Sephora and sadly, there are no Sephora stores in the UK, I will definitely be stocking up when I next visit a Sephora. This primer applies so smoothly and acts almost as a BB cream when it is applied as it gives your skin a little tint and glow, it could definitely be used a BB cream/moisturiser on its own but it is great to apply makeup on top of too. My makeup lasts all day when I use this primer and my skin feels so soft. If you can get your hands on this primer, you won't regret it!

TARTE TARTELETTE FLIRT EYESHADOW PALETTE

Wow is all I can say. My boyfriend bought me this eyeshadow palette as a birthday present 2 years ago and every time I've worn eyeshadow since then, there's a 95% chance it's been from this palette. I absolutely love all of the shades in this palette, they can all be worn as an everyday look or a going out look. I am nearly ready for a new palette but I am getting the most out of this palette as they're hard to get hold of. The pigment in this eyeshadow palette too is insane, you only have to lightly swirl your brush around the pan and you will get an intense eye look. I couldn't praise this palette enough so if you like smoky brown and orange shades with a hint of glitter, please treat yourself to this palette. (It also smells like chocolate which is always a bonus.)

This lipstick is another free sample I received during my placement year. I've been reaching for this lipstick pretty much anytime I want to put a lipstick on as it's such a wearable colour especially with a nude lip liner, you're good to go. I have shade 04 which is 'canoodle' and these lipsticks are so creamy and easy to wear, they last a long time without having to re-apply and they smell good too which is again, always a bonus. If you're looking for a lipstick which will last the majority of the day and won't dry your lips out, maybe try this one.

The final thing I've been loving recently is a perfume. I'm posting this post on the gloomiest day of the year so far so this perfume doesn't really make sense in this case but the weather has been nice the past month so I was loving it then! My mum bought me this perfume from duty free in the airport and it's an amazing price, around £25/£30 for 50ml and it smells amazing! The main scent is watermelon but it has a hint of fresh fruit and is such a summery scent. If you're looking to hold onto summer a little while longer or just love sweet/fruity scents, this perfume is definitely for you.

That's all of my recommendations from products I've been loving recently. If anyone has any recommendations for me, please send them across!
